Mr. Mahesh T obtained B.E. in Civil Engineering and M.Tech in Environmental Engineering from Mysore University. He did the UNEP/UNESCO/BMU Post Graduate Course on Environmental Management for Developing and Emerging Countries held at Centre for International Postgraduate Studies in Environment Management (CIPSEM), Dresden Technical University, Germany from 15 January to 15 July 2009. He has also completed Bachelor of Law from Karnataka Law University in 2019. His research experiences involve the assessment, evaluation and reporting of the water quality and air quality under the National Programmes in India viz. Global Environmental Monitoring System/Monitoring of Indian Aquatic Resource Programme and National Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Programmes. He is also involved in preparation of proposals for providing interception and diversion works for eight towns in the State of Karnataka under National River Action Plan (NRAP). He worked as Regional Officer for four years and involved in Monitoring, Inspection and Compliance verification in respect of industries, municipalities and infrastructure projects. He also worked as General Manager in the Environmental Management and Policy Research Institute (EMPRI). He has contributed for the preparation of “Environmental Status Report for Bangalore” under GTZ-ASEM and Department of Forest, Ecology & Environment, Government of Karnataka funded Project.
