Dr Schlink is a senior scientist at the Dept. of Urban and Environmental Sociology at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research UFZ in Leipzig, Germany. He holds a PhD in Meteorology and teaches at the Institute of Meteorology, University of Leipzig. His research interests are urban air quality, urban climate, climate change adaptation, indoor air quality, statistical modelling and environmental health effects.
